My writing goal for the past term has been to write different genres of writing. On this google doc, I have told you what genre of writing it is, what the title of the writing is, and I put in a link to the piece of writing.

DeleteIf I had written all the genres it would have taken too long, so I just did those genres (the teacher said that would be OK.)
And I don't know what writing I will write next.

Mercy - The storm sounds exciting! We can imagine ourselves seeing the storm from the house, or being caught in the storm on our way home. Can you remember getting caught in thunderstorms at the ranch? - Love, Grandma and Grandpa

I would love to glide in your wondrous, exhilarating, breathtaking swing. The adjectives you used made me remember a swing my dad made for us. It was not nearly so high or exciting as yours, but I felt like I was flying when I was in it. I enjoyed your descriptions of the making and the swinging. Love, Nana
